Book review for nature photography books
Welcome to my book review for nature photographers books. I will show some of the books i read and i think that they are quite good. This reviews are complete independend of the author or the publisher. I write my opinion, but please be aware that some off the books i only read in the english or the german version not both.

Getaway guide to wildlife photography
Nigel Dennis is one of the famoust wildlife photographer for african wildlife and nature. He put his whole experience into that book. The book is really usefull for people like to take pictures of african wildlife. Nigel Dennis lives in South africa and presents his equipment, his experience and a few of his main spots to shoot certain wildlife.
Nature photography field guide
John Shaw's nature photography field guide is one of the classic nature photography book. Doesn't matter if it is now a view years old it is still huge base knowledge around wildlife photography. John Shaw talks about Exposure, Equipment, Composition, Closeups and pratice working in the field. This book is a must in each regals of the wildlife photographers in the world.
Bush babies
Bush babies is not a classic photgraphy learning book. It is mor ea coffee table book about african wildlife cubs. Under the slogan "Young african wildlife - a visual celebration" Nigel Dennis and Roger de la Harpe present a huge collection of images of young african wildlife. With useful and interssting texts it may be a good book to teach you children about african wildlife. The main goal of the book are the images which show the relation between the adult animals and their cubs. The authors caught a lot of intime and private moments in the live of the young african wildlife.
The ultimate african wildlife
The ulimate african wildlife is a book containing images and information for all sort of african wildlife, from the well known ones like elephants and lions to the more unknown ones like the aardvarks or yellow mongooses. But not only the continent is part of the book, also madagascar's wildlife is part of the book. This is a real grea book with a lot of phantastic images.
Vanishing act
One of my favourite Art Wolfe books is a real interactive book. With vanishing act the reader has to investigate into the images. There is no way around it. Camouflagged subjects animate to search inside the photos for the main subject and to deal with the whole image. vanishing act demonstrates how effective it can be to break common photographic rules.
Out of africa
Out of africa is the story of a danish woman which lived in Kenya during the worldwar. She describes how she learned about the culture of the natives and how the daily business was on a coffee farm in the mountains of kenya. The daily business of protecting the oxen from lions or fighting against millions of grasshoppers is norated in a phantastic way. You recognize that the author Karen Blixen has a lot of writing experience.
